TEAM-of the Year (TOTY)
Format:
· Free program with paid Competition Membership with no extra fees to participate
· Points are awarded based on the 2-Fish Team Tournament weight, participation, and live fish
· All Teams receive 10 points for participating in a tournament (maximum 50-points)
· Points accumulate from the 4 highest scores (weight) on the Region Schedule
· The Team with the highest score in their region is the Team-of-the-Year for their Region
Lady Angler-of the Year (LAOTY)
Format:
· Free program with paid membership with no extra fees to participate
· Points are awarded based on the 2-Fish Team Tournament weight, participation, and live fish
· All Ladies receive 10 points for participating in a tournament (maximum 50-points)
· Points accumulate from the 4 highest scores (weight) on the Region Schedule
· The Lady with the highest score in their region is the Lady Angler-of-the-Year for their Region
Youth Angler-of the Year (YAOTY)
Format:
· Free program with no entry fees to participate
· Points are awarded based on the 2-Fish Team Tournament weight, participation, and live fish
· All Youth receive 10 points for participating in a tournament (maximum 50-points)
· Points accumulate from the 4 highest scores (weight) on the Region Schedule
· The Youth with the highest score in their region is the Youth Angler-of-the-Year for their Region PRIZES and Awards The Team/Lady/YouthAngler of the Year for each region will receive: 1) Bragging rights within their region for a year,
2) A trophy distinguishing them as the best in their field of competition for the region,
3) FREE ENTRY to the National Championship,
4) FREE ENTRY for their team for the following tournament season's 2-Fish team tournament series
NOTE: See Lady-Angler-of-the-Championship and Youth-Angler-of-the-Championship for special prizes and awards at the National Championship.
It is our plan to seek sponsors for many categories throughout the year.
