Non-Profit Member based Organization
Club Objectives
The North Georgia Striper Club (NGSC) is a fishing organization established by striper anglers in 1993. The NGSC is unique in the fact that it is dedicated to fishing for and the preservation of one of the best gamefish in the state of Georgia, the striped bass. Unlike some highly competitive fishing clubs, the NGSC members promote the exchange of fishing tips and locations to other members so that everyone can become more successful.
Membership
We would like to welcome you to join our club and enjoy the friendship we share as members. Membership is open to striper enthusiasts of all skill levels who enjoy fishing and friendly competition. Both boaters and non-boaters can compete on an equal basis in the club's monthly tournaments. If you art interested in joining our organization, please call any of the club's officers for more information, or come to one of our meetings.
Meetings
The NGSC meets the second Tuesday of each month at the Golden Corral, located at 915 Northpoint Drive in Alpharetta, at 7:30 pm. It is located just east GA Hwy 400 at Haynes Bridge Road. A map is available by Clicking Here.
Tournaments
The NGSC holds monthly club tournaments throughout the year and hosts open tournaments in the fall and winter. Club tournaments are held on Lake Lanier and four away lakes for striped and hybrid bass during the year. The club rewards anglers with cash pay-outs, plaques, and year-end trophies. Open tournaments are held at Lake Lanier on Saturdays in the fall and winter.
