We need your help!  And you can fish in a 100% payback tournament too!  There are options to fit every budget.  You can MIX-AND-MATCH!  If a team enters everything and wins they can easily take home more than $5,000.

MISSION: Our objective is twofold; first, to catch fish for the SCDNR Striped Bass Hatchery and second, to raise money for SC Striped Bass Fishery improvements.  Live weigh-in is imperative especially for larger fish.  Some Striper Tubes are available for rent for $10.  And we will even offer a special pick-up shuttles at the SCE&G ramp and Dreher Island Ramp (right side as you enter the park) for anyone not having a striper tube to keep them in for the trip to the weigh-in site.  Call 864-915-5348 for arrangements.  We will make multiple pick-up runs.  Fish need to be greater than 10-pounds for this shuttle opportunity.  Although this is not preferred by the biologists, fish can be held on a rope if necessary while in the water fishing and in your bait tank or ice chest full of water for the trip to the ramp.  We will use striper tubes to revive them if required/possible.

SATURDAY (March 29^th, 2008)

BIG STRIPER TOURNAMENT: ($25 per entry limited to a maximum of 4-entries per boat) 

Fish for as little as $25 in the BIG STRIPER Tournament and you can win $1,000 or more with a very deep payout.  1-place paid for every 10 entries in cash with additional places paid by sponsors’ prizes. 

BENEFIT TOURNAMENT: ($125 per boat includes one entry into the BIG STRIPER Tournament)  You can also fish the SBCC and MSC SCDNR Conservation Benefit Tournament with a guarantee of $1,500 to 1st Place regardless of entries and all the proceeds going to improve the striped bass fishery. 

2-FISH TEAM POINTS TOURNAMENT: ($150 per boat) And finally, for those fishing for the SBCC Championship, you can fish the SBCC 2-fish team tournament and earn points for the Team of the Year championship and earn a free entry to the SBCC Championship.  And the top-25% of the field in the 2-fish team tournament will qualify for the SBCC Championship.  This has a 100% payout with 80% at the tournament and 20% paid out at the Championship guaranteed!

SUNDAY (March 30^th, 2008)

2-FISH BIG STRIPER TOURNAMENT: ($50 per boat) 

Help catch more female stripers for the SCDNR Striped Bass Hatchery on Sunday by fishing again for $50 with the 100%-payout based on number of entries with 1-place paid per 10-intries.  However, this Sunday tournament will be weight of each of your fish.  You will be allowed to weigh in up to 2-fish and win up to 2-places.  In other words, if you only have one fish at 20-pounds and another team as a 19-pounder and an 18-pounder and these are the largest 3-fish in the tournament, the 20-pounder will win 1st-place, the 19-pounder will win 2nd-place and the 18-pounder will win 3rd-place.  So the team with the 2-fish will win 2-places and may win as much or more than the team with the 20-pounder because that team only had 1-fish.  Again, both Saturday and Sunday we will be trying to capture and keep live female striped bass for the hatchery.  They plan to use them as brood stock if at all possible.
