SBCC POINT'S TOURNAMENTS:  There are 5-points tournaments on the Central Region Schedule for the TOTY Points Trail.  Because of the Drought, dates and locations are subject to change based on safety and availability of facilities.  SBCC members qualify for the National Championship from the points tournaments either based on points ranking with the Top-50% receiving a free entry (Must fish 3 or more points tournaments to be eligible for the FREE entry based on Points ranking), or by finishing in the Top-25% of the Point's Tournament.  Those qualifying based on finish will pay the full entry fee less their discount certificate.  The discount Certificate is worth 20% off the National Championship full entry fee.

SBCC HOSTED TOURNAMENTS:  The SBCC will host and/or assist with conducting special tournaments on the above schedule and award the top-25% of the finishers with an invitation to participate in the 2008 National Championship.  At the present time the Central Tournament director has not determined any special Host tournaments.

SBCC SANCTIONED TOURNAMENTS: Note that ALL striper club members are automatically considered Associate Members of the SBCC and receive a 25% discounnt off the Competition membership upgrade fees.  As such, ALL striper club tournaments are subject to be sanctioned regardless of where or who owns them, if approved by the Central Region Tournament Director.  Any SBCC member that finishes in the top-3 spots of any of their club's (member's only or open) tournaments approved in advance b the Central Region Tournament Director are eligible to receive an invitation to the SBCC National Championship.  Those receiving an invitation through this sanctioning program will pay the full entry fee for the Championship to participate.
